The cutting wheels in the ERW range are designed for use on excavators from 20 to 50 tons weight.
They are ideal for cutting narrow trenches or slots to a maximum width of 40 centimetres and a maximum depth of one metre.

The hydraulic cutting wheel attachments perform best in asphalt, concrete and rock with a maximum uniaxial compressive strength of 80 MPa, equivalent to a medium hard limestone, and can be used down to 30 m under water.
As an optional extra, the ERKAT | ERWETOR can be supplied with a protective housing, which improves the extraction from material out of horizontal trenches and can also be used to control the cutting depth.
